Happy Friday!

Wow, we made it to Spring Break! What a great week this was, Science Fair was amazing! The students did a great job with their projects. Congratulations to Bailey and Allisa who's project was one of the projects chosen from our school to go to the District Science Fair with their project on How High Fat Foods Affect Blood Glucose in Type 1 Diabetics. A few might have homework over the break.

- home reading. This should be done every day (don't forget to add up your minutes for MS)
- fine arts - some of the students will have a drawing to finish for fine arts
- math. Some of the year 4/5 students have not finished their division journals for math. This must be done before you come back.

Have a great holiday, see you on the 15th!!!

Thursday Homework

Not too much homework for the weekend. I would really like them to be working on their Science Fair projects as we only have two class days next week before we go to McQueen Lake. I would like them to check this weekend that they have winter clothes that fit and are comfortable at McQueen Lake. They also need to make sure that they have bedding (foamy, sleeping bag, pillow/pillow substitute) and plastic cup, bowl, plate as well as fork, spoon and knife. I don't want these things left until the last minute. If you do need to borrow anything, please let me know and I will ask the class if anyone has extras. Have a great long weekend!
