Items for next year

I just thought that I would post this while I am thinking of things now. Throughout the summer if you see any of these things during your travels (garage sales or have them at home and are looking to get rid of them) our class would greatly appreciate them. If you can donate them could you please post a response on here so that others know as well, or let me know and I can update the list.

- boggle game
- scrabble game
- old blender or food processor (I want to do some paper making next year. The blades don't need to be sharp, it just has to blend wet paper)
- set of mixing bowls
- cookie sheets
- mixing spoons, spatulas, etc.
- hand blender

I figured many sets of eyes on the lookout are better than just mine!

Friday June 18th

Hard to believe only one Friday left!
Wow is the only word that comes to my mind to describe the WONDERFUL presentations the children made today on their Create a Culture project. Such though went into these, they were a joy to listen to.

- Mathletics

I know that many of the children are enjoying Mathletics right now. Just a reminder that it is only $5 to buy the program for the remainder of the summer. Have a great weekend!

Wednesday June 16th

This thought passed through my head many times today as I watched the children working. Such a lovely productive day today. It was nice to see many of you at the Parent Tea today.

Monday June 14

Wow, hard to believe that there are only two Mondays left in the school year! So much to do and so much going on. . .it's going to fly by! We had a great day today with our third and final Eureka! visit. We also go to see our Voicethreads that we have been working on. They are very cool and I encourage everyone to check them out. Friday!!!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, with all the excitement of the dance and the duck it was a little crazy around here! Another good day today, although a sad one as we said goodbye to a student who is moving away. We will miss you!!! Some homework over the weekend:

- any unfinished work needs to be handed in Monday morning at 8:30 or it will be given a zero
