We had a fun day today making dryer vent pumpkins with our buddies! We really enjoyed singing with them afterward too! Homework this weekend:

Thursday

We had a wonderful day today thanks to a few extra treats from the fire department and Panago. We all enjoyed a pizza lunch and each student received a bag of treats/information from the fire department. Homework tonight:

- home reading
- spelling dictation
- mathletics
- we are painting with our buddies tomorrow using paint that does not wash out as easily. Please do not wear your best clothes.

Wednesday

We found out exciting news this afternoon. One of our students has been chosen as Fire Chief for the Day tomorrow. We all get a pizza lunch provided for us tomorrow because of this. Homework tonight:

- study spelling
- mathletics
- there is no band/fine arts tomorrow
- math quiz tomorrow (addition/subtraction)

A piece of pizza and juice box will be provided for the children tomorrow. Please pack anything extra your child may want to eat. Have a great night!

Tuesday

Please make sure that you talk with your children tonight about "stranger danger." There was someone spotted in the area on Friday last week. This week all children will have the same spelling words. These are words that are often used improperly in daily writing. Homework tonight:

- reading response (if not complete)
- online newsletter should have been emailed home

Friday

It was a catch up day today. Many assignments were due today so we spent the day making sure we are all ready for next week. There will be an addition and subtraction quiz next week as we are now finished these subjects in math. Homework this weekend:

- any unfinished work

Thursday

We had fun today doing mathletics and giving the hermit crabs a bath. We were quite pleased to see that the one who had dug down the first week of school was still alive and well. Homework tonight:
