We had a lot of fun playing math games in the computer lab today. A reminder that the milk program has started again and if you are interested a card can be purchased for your child. Wednesday

Another wonderful day today! The year sixes had a meeting regarding band. This will start next week. Please discuss this meeting with your child if they are in grade six. Tomorrow is gym. The students are required to have a change of gym strip for gym. This should be a t-shirt and shorts (sweat or yoga pants are fine) as well as running shoes. Homework tonight: - home reading - study spelling - gym strip - verification forms returned - allergy forms returned - Math: 4 P. 8 #4-7, 5 p. 8 #1-7, 6 input/output package - spelling worksheet if not complete - 5 & 6's study spelling your names using the french alphabet (to tell me Friday) Have a wonderful evening.

Tuesday

The children have settled into the new school year so nicely! They worked very hard and diligently today. Homework tonight: - home reading - study spelling - Math 4 p. 8 #1-3, 6 p. 8 #1-7 - Verification form Have a great night!

Monday

We have had a wonderful Monday to start off the school year. Our class has slightly changed this year. It is a bit smaller with 20 students this year. The children received their agendas at the end of the day so they might not have had time to write this weeks spelling words in, they will be there tomorrow. Homework tonight: - home reading (30 min)

Friday

One week done already! The class lists should be posted Monday morning. If your child is not going to be in this class please make sure you check the list to find out who their teacher will be. If your child will be in this class the lockers will be labelled for Monday morning so please remind them to find their name. Have a great weekend!

Thursday

We had another great day today! We started French today and created a classroom and then labeled in French. We also created some 3D hand art. It looks like we might be in this class for one more day with children moving to their new assigned classes on Monday. Please check outside for posted lists when this change happens. Welcome Back!

Wow! The first full day of school for the 2012-2013 year! We had a great day today. The children are settling back in nicely. We did some school safety and playground review today. We had fun. They really liked the super dot to dot activity today. We weeded the garden in the morning, and did some math review too. Have a wonderful night!
