Monday Sept. 17

There were calls today for children in grades 5-7 interested in playing volleyball. If you missed these meetings and are interested please let the office know. We watched a Bill Nye DVD today that talked about different kinds of waves. Your child should be able to tell you the definitions of wavelength, frequency and amplitude. We created a very fun class drawing today. Each one of the children took a square of a bigger picture and together created a large one. We also had our first buddy class of the year. It was a lot of fun meeting our new little buddies! Thursday September 13

We had a lot of fun playing math games in the computer lab today. A reminder that the milk program has started again and if you are interested a card can be purchased for your child. Wednesday

Another wonderful day today! The year sixes had a meeting regarding band. This will start next week. Please discuss this meeting with your child if they are in grade six. Tomorrow is gym. The students are required to have a change of gym strip for gym. This should be a t-shirt and shorts (sweat or yoga pants are fine) as well as running shoes. We have had a wonderful Monday to start off the school year. Our class has slightly changed this year. It is a bit smaller with 20 students this year.
