Today we said goodbye to Mrs. Kipp in the library.  She was very touched by the notes that the children wrote to her.  We also continued with our labeling of parts of the body in French. We will be painting tomorrow so please do not send your child in their best clothes.  Homework:

Wednesday

Tomorrow is our librarian assistant Mrs. Kipp's last day.  She will be retiring at the end of the week.  The children worked today to create her notes of thanks for all of the hard work that she has done for our classroom over the last six years that she has been at Aberdeen.  Homework tonight:

Tuesday

Today we continued our look at early people and are now looking at how people have spread around the world/continents.  In French we have started to learn the parts of the body.  Homework tonight:

Today was awesome!  We marked our novel studies and were very productive.  It was quiet in the classroom and the children accomplished a lot of work!  We have also started our unit on the Skeletal System.  Homework tonight:

What an amazing day yesterday was!  The children did a wonderful job with their Math Expo projects!  They were all very well done and they should all be very proud.  We had wonderful feedback from all of the visitors that came to view the projects.  Homework  tonight:

Today in the class we made War Time Chocolate Cake.  We discussed rationing and how baking during war times would have been difficult and different from today.  The children also had a chance to present their Math Expo projects to a partner today to get some feedback.  Homework tonight:
