We started working on a piece of writing today that we will edit over the next couple of weeks looking at different traits of writing each time we edit. We also had a fun time with our buddies making countdown chains for Christmas and Gingerbread Men activities. Homework tonight:

We had fun in fine arts this morning working with charcoal again. Please remember that if you have ordered poinsettia's that you need to pick them up today in the Community Room by 4:30. Homework tonight:

Wednesday

Wow today went fast! We had a class meeting this morning and discussed many different things including classroom expectations, winter weather/clothing and lice. We have had a report case of lice in the room so please just make sure that you are checking your child every couple of days over the next week. A notice will be coming home with your child today. Monday

Today we looked at both the time line of life and the time line of man. We will be working with these even more in the weeks to come. Many students have been asking me if we will be in a holiday concert. We will not be participating (other than the yr.6 band students) during the holiday season. The fine arts group will have two activities coming up in the spring that you will be invited to watch. Homework tonight:
