It was another really productive day with our projects today. Please remember that the children will be given more time next week in class to work on them and that they should be bringing all of their parts in to start to put the projects together. Homework tonight:

We had a wonderful work block day today and the children worked very hard on their Heritage Fair projects. Homework tonight:

Monday March 26

Wow today went fast! The children have been working hard all day. Just a reminder that there will be no weekly spelling until Heritage Fair is finished. Homework tonight:

- home reading
- math if not complete (4 p. 235 #1-4, 5 p. 236 #1-12 no number 9, 6 p. 233 #1-10)
- novel study - year 4 and 5 if not complete is overdue
- gym tomorrow, please have gym strip
- please bring Heritage Fair projects to school to work on

Please help Mitchell win an AED!

Some of you may be aware that one of the students in our class has a heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. His family is currently a finalist to win him an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). They could use our help to vote for them and pass on the information to get as many votes as possible. Wednesday

We spent a large portion of the day today looking at heritage fair, working on our stamps and starting to think about researching our projects. I told the students that if they would like to work in partners that they need to have their parents write me a note or email to let me know that they are fine with the partnering as they will have to work together outside of school time. Homework tonight:

- home reading (write up due)
- math Y5 p. 158 #1-15, Y6 p. 216 #1-9
- heritage stamp and write up must be finished by 8:30 Friday morning at the latest. I will be coming by to pick them up to take them down to the Henry Grube
- WITW/Canadian Reader articles and maps due Monday
- Yr 4 and Yr 5 math quiz on Wednesday
- skating forms in by Friday. If anyone has a size 9 pair of boys skates could they please lend them to a student in the class. Thank you!
