Monday

We had a big class meeting this morning and talked about some of the behaviours that have been happening in the classroom and outside lately.  In PE the children each showed the dance routines that they have created in their groups so far.  Homework tonight:

 - WITW/Canadian Reader if not complete
 - Rainy Day if not complete
 - compound machines if not complete
 - French lesson 5 if not complete

Friday

We had an amazing day of work in the classroom today!  The children were focused and on task and got a lot of work completed.  Homework this weekend:

 - home reading (oral reading for one day)
 - What in the World and Canadian Reader packages due Monday
 - Barkerville payments next week
 - Rainy Day inferencing activity if not complete
 - Compound machines if not complete

Thursday

Wow what a busy day!  We looked today at Carnaval de Quebec and the children each wrote a paragraph as to what they would like to see if they were there.  We continued on with our dance unit in PE and the children are now in groups designing their own dance.  Homework tonight:

 - spelling sheet if not complete
 - WITW/Canadian Reader map
 - Carnaval paragraph if not complete
 - WITW/Canadian Reader package due Monday

Tuesday

The children presented their science fair projects to the class today.  They all did a wonderful job and I am so impressed with the learning that has taken place!  Tomorrow is the school science fair in the gym.  Parents are welcome to attend from 1:15-2:30.  Homework tonight:

 - map due Friday

Tomorrow all science fair projects MUST be at school.  I will be having the children present to me tomorrow as I will be away on Wednesday due to a medical appointment.  Please make sure your child has everything they need at the school tomorrow morning.  Homework tonight:

We had a great time with our little buddies today.  We celebrated 100 days of school with them.  We also did some baking and made 10 cakes to donate to the school spaghetti dinner tomorrow evening.  A reminder that all MS Read-a-thon forms are due back tomorrow.  Homework tonight:
