Today was mostly a work block day. There were a variety of projects being worked on. Homework tonight:

- project work - students should be working on something every night from one of the projects we have on the go

Thursday

We had a lot of fun with our Kindergarten Buddies today. We had an Easter Egg hunt. It had to be moved indoors because of weather, but we all still had a good time. Homework this weekend:

Tuesday

We had a very exciting day today. While working on Mathletics we had 3 students in the top 10! Including one in the number one spot in Canada! Congratulations ladies!!! Good luck to our two Battle of the Books teams who go tomorrow to participate in the District Finals! Homework tonight:

We do have a spelling list this week, the test will be Thursday, please make sure your child is studying nightly. We practiced long and triple jump in the gym today. Please keep practicing the footwork for the triple jump. We also took part in an Earth Day clean up outside today. Homework tonight:

Thursday

Please make sure that your child has been checked for lice. I was talking with a parent yesterday who was surprised to hear about it. The final Eagle Bay payment is due tomorrow. Please make sure if you are unable to pay that you let me know and I can make other arrangements. All assigned work in Mathletics are due to be completed for homework tonight. I will be recording the marks in the morning. Homework tonight

We had some unexpected visitors to our class today. Our new class pets of hermit crabs and harvester ants arrived a few days early! Unfortunately, their habitats haven't arrived yet! No matter, we are building a wonderful crabitat for them. Homework this weekend:
