We have had a bit of a problem in the classroom lately with respect. The level of respect has gone down in many areas, mainly towards the classroom work environment. I have been talking with the children a lot this week about making sure that just because they have finished an assignment and have time to do a choice activity does not mean that everyone in the room is done and they need to respect the work environment. Many times when I am trying to talk or give a lesson children are also getting up to wander around the room, talking to a friend or are not paying attention. I know that the holidays are coming up and that the children are excited but this does not excuse the behaviour. Can you please reinforce this with your child at home this weekend.
