Today the students each received a booklet called My Podium Pages. They are required to write a journal entry during each day of the Olympics, including weekends! When they need to find information I have asked them to use the Canadian Olympic website which is www.olympic.ca. We have been working this week on reading aloud with a friend in the classroom to work on fluency and expression while reading. I would also encourage extra practice of times tables as many children still have a slower recall of this. Homework tonight: - home reading - study spelling dictation tomorrow - Day 1 of My Podium Pages - math 4p. 103 #1-2, 5p. 124 #1-16, 6p. 126 #1-9 - Science packages need to be handed in tomorrow if not already handed in Have a good night.
