Wednesday

Well it sure was a quiet day in the classroom today with some of the 5/6 students gone! We got a lot of great work done today. We had some fun as well with some of the other grade 4 students that were in split classes. We got to practice our basketball skills with Mrs. Doherty's students today and the three classes got together at the end of the day to watch part of James and the Giant Peach. Our grade 4's have it as a home reading book this year and there are some big differences between the book and the movie so we are going to compare and contrast the two and discuss why they feel that the film makers decided to make changes. Homework tonight: - home reading - study spelling (sheet due tomorrow) - math quiz Friday - Continent projects for grade 4's are due next week - Paragraphs for physical regions of Canada due next week for grade 5's - skating tomorrow please bring a helmet and skates so that you are able to skate Have a wonderful evening!
