Tuesday - KSV Day 2

We stayed at the school for a portion of the morning this morning so that we could still have our band and fine arts switches. We decided that because the grade 6's were bringing their instruments down with them this morning that we would take the bus down. Once we arrived the grade 6's students played a few songs for the residents in the Bistro. We then had a work block in the classroom with some students at a time being pulled to bake sugar cookies with the residents in the Multipurpose Room. Most of the students had a chance to do this today. Those who didn't will be chosen first for resident activities tomorrow. After lunch we again went out to the back lawn area and had fun playing tag and again more bubble play. After our play time some students went to help with some service jobs around the Village and we read again from "The War with Grandpa" and then packed up to take the bus home. It was nice to see some new faces joining us for our activities this morning at the Village. Homework tonight: - home reading - novel study - science package - WITW map Have a great night!
