Tuesday - KSV Day 5

Another amazing day down at KSV today. It was a smaller class today with 11 of the children taking part in the zone track meet. Congratulations to all of those students! Those of us left at the school had a great day. We walked down to KSV (a 2.1 km walk by my count). After a small break for a snack we headed outside and helped do some weeding in the back flower beds. We then packed up and headed to Albert McGowan Park for a picnic with some residents. We had 8 join us for lunch today. After lunch and play time we headed down to the pond and did some bird watching and sketching. Thank you to those parents who drove today and made this outing possible for us all. Homework tonight: - home reading - unfinished work such as novel study to part G, WITW, science packages and maps.
