Wednesday

Today the students did some practical life activities. We made chocolate cake from a war time recipe and talked about rationing and what they would have had to do just to bake a cake. We also made home made ice cream the old fashioned way using a hand crank ice cream maker. The students helped with the parent appreciation tea at the school today as well. We ended the day watching the movie UP as it has intergenerational ties back to our time at KSV. Tomorrow we need to return all of our library books to the school so if your child has any library books or text books at home can you please make sure that you bring them in tomorrow. Tomorrow is also the science test on the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems. If your child missed the test on Monday they will also write the skeletal and muscle test. Homework tonight: - home reading - study science - return library books Year 4 Social Studies models and all novel study memory boxes will also be sent home tomorrow. Have a good night!
